How buying a seal from us works
1. Send what you have
A part number, a drawing, a photo of the failed seal, or the pump make and model. Any one of those is usually enough to start.
2. We check the duty, not just the size
Fluid and concentration, temperature, pressure, speed and solids. If the original specification was wrong, we say so before quoting.
3. You get a specification and a price
Including the cheaper option when a cheaper option will do the job. We will tell you when FFKM is overkill for your line.
4. Despatch
Stocked sizes ordered before 2pm despatch the same day. Made to order and reverse engineered items are quoted with a lead time up front.
Delivery and coverage
We despatch UK wide from Manchester, and regularly supply Europe and Asia through our partner stockists and export channels. Stocked sizes ordered before 2pm go the same day, and Greater Manchester and the North West are typically next day. Made to order, reverse engineered and refurbished items are always quoted with a confirmed lead time before you commit, because a date you can plan around matters more than an optimistic one.
Emergency supply is available outside normal hours for line down situations. If your plant is stopped, call rather than email. Emergency seal replacement.

Yes. We are based in Manchester and supply mechanical seals, gaskets and O-rings across the UK, Europe and Asia. UK stocked sizes despatched the same day when ordered before 2pm; international orders ship through partner stockists and export channels with confirmed lead times.
Can you supply an equivalent to my current seal brand?
In most cases yes. Send a part number, drawing or the seal itself and we cross reference the dimensions, face materials, elastomer and arrangement to an equivalent. We are independent and are not affiliated with the brands we cross reference.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We supply single seals and single O-rings as readily as batch quantities, including large diameter O-rings made to order with no mould cost and no minimum purchase.
How quickly can you supply a mechanical seal?

Do you supply seals for obsolete pumps?
Yes. Where the original seal is no longer available we reverse engineer from a sample or drawing, or refurbish the existing cartridge if the hardware is serviceable.
Do you only sell, or do you advise as well?
Both, and the advice comes first. Most repeat failures are specification failures rather than product failures, so we look at chemistry, temperature, face combination and flush plan before recommending a part.
What information do you need for a quote?
Ideally the pump make and model or seal part number, shaft size, fluid and concentration, operating temperature and pressure, shaft speed, and any standard you must meet such as API 682, FDA or 3A.
Do you supply FFKM seals and O-rings?
Yes. We supply FFKM from a major European supplier for aggressive chemistry and high temperature duties, and will tell you when a lower cost FKM or EPDM would perform just as well.
