See the training coursesWhen a seal fails again, I look beyond the part number. The material, faces or flush arrangement may not suit the real duty. I want to know what changed on the plant before I recommend another seal. That same judgement goes into every mechanical seal, FFKM compound and sealing product I put my name to.
When you work with me, you get 36 years of sealing experience, not someone reading from a catalogue. I have worked with some manufacturers and distributors for more than 20 years. They have earned my loyalty because their products and their people have stood up to the work. But I do not work to a catalogue target. If a lower-cost option fits, I will say so.
I only work closely with a limited number of companies. I look at the product, the people behind it and how they respond when something goes wrong. I do not take on anyone just because they ask. A manufacturer can retain me for my judgement and the results it helps deliver, not to buy my recommendation. If we work together, my experience is part of what you get.

If the original seal cannot be identified, start with the measurement guide. For a damaged seal, refurbishment is considered after inspection. Material selection depends on the operating conditions, not the part number alone.
